Steve Dorsey
did his first Roy Orbison
impersonation in May of 2000 at the Packard Music Hall in Warren, Ohio. It was part of the "Reflections
of the Legends" show. This show featured impersonations of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Lou Rawles, Neil Diamond, Bobby Darrin and Elvis.

After a 3 year hiatus, Steve Dorsey appeared as Roy Orbison at the Shakespeare Restaurant in Ellwood City, Pa in November of 2004.
Other impersonators included Elvis, John Lennon and Billy Smooth and the House Rockers. Steve Dorsey as Roy Orbison was at the Shakespeare again in February of 2005
along with John Lennon,Rodney Dangerfield
and the wonderful Lee Alverson as Elton John.
In October of 2004, Steve Dorsey appeared as Roy Orbison at the VFW
in W. Middlesex, Pa with Elvis, John Lennon
and Billy Smooth and the House Rockers.
At the Polish Falcon Club in Erie, Pa in November of 2004, Steve Dorsey as Roy Orbison shared the stage with Kurt Nova as Elvis, a young
variety singer Rachael Spellman and a Country Balladeer, Harvey Hayes.

February 21st, 2005, Steve Dorsey was invited to do his Roy Orbison impersonation at a benefit for George and Linda
Wagner at the Mountaineer Grand Ballroom in Chester, W. Va.
along with impersonators as follows:

On March 19, 2005, there was a benefit for "Cats Are People Too" at the VFW in W. Middlesex, Pa. Steve Dorsey's Roy Orbison impersonation was very well received with a rousing standing ovation.

"Come Together" a tribute to the Beatles
and Billy Smooth and the House Rockers.

SOLD OUT show at the Italian Civic Club in Meadville, Pa.

Steve Dorsey as Roy Orbison was awe-inspiring during his performance
, receiving another standing ovation at the Superstars In Concert show
at the Mountaineer's Lighthouse Lounge in Chester, W.Va. which also featured:
Suzanne Laughlin Varitek as Ann Murray and Karen Carpenter.
She was wonderful.
Cos Serrapere as Dean Martin was very funny.
The talented Lee Alverson, the world's #1 Elton John (according to United Tribute Artists
International) gave a incomparable performance.
George Wagner as Elvis Presley was also a showstopper.
On Sat., May 28th, 2005 at the Shrine Club in Erie, Pa. the "Supershow
Elvis Lives" was a hugh success with the great Kurt Nova as Elvis wowing the ladies as usual. Suzanne Laughlin
Varitek gave the crowd their money's worth as well, performing as Ann Murray and then Karen Carpenter. The audience enjoyed
Harvey Hayes opening the show with his country ballads. And Steve Dorsey impressed the crowd again
as Roy Orbison. Steve appreciated the audience and mentioned this was one of the best audiences
he's had. They showed great interest and appreciation for the entertainers and really got into the music.
On Tuesday, May 31st, 2005 Steve Dorsey gave another impressive
impersonation of Roy Orbison at the Mountaineer Lighthouse Lounge. The crowd was not expecting
the fantastic voice of Steve Dorsey and really enjoyed themselves.
On Friday, June 10th, 2005 Steve Dorsey
gave a tremendous impersonation of Roy Orbison at Rolando's
Ballroom in Canton, Ohio for the ALL STAR REVIEW SOLD
OUT SHOW!!! Getting a standing ovation for his performances seems to
be classic Steve Dorsey! It happens at every show he performs. The crowd stood, applauded and practically roared!
It was a great show with the beautiful and sexy Suzanne Laughlin Varitek as Ann Murray. She sang
wonderfully. Dean Martin had them laughing. John Lennon was there. The Taylor
Made Classics had the crowd dancing, singing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. This Doo Wop group is absolutely wonderful. If you didn't get to this one, you really missed out.
Monday, July 25th, 2005 at the Mountaineer
- Lighthouse Resturaunt from 8pm to 11pm, Steve Dorsey gave another
wonderful performance with his Roy Orbison impersonation. There were many people wanting to
know when he'd be back,
so they could be sure to come back and listen to him again.
Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Mountaineer
- Lighthouse Resturaunt in Chester, W. Va. Steve Dorsey gave his Roy Orbison impersonation and pleased the crowd as usual. His show was great and even included a
duet with Jan Ross.
Friday, November 4th, 2005
at Harbor Creek, Pa., Steve Dorsey caught the hearts of all there with his superior
Roy Orbison impersonation. Doing shows with Kurt Nova as Elvis and Harvey Hayes, the country balladeer
is always a grand show and pleasant experience for all attending.

at the VFW in Mineral Ridge, Ohio; Steve Dorsey gave an outstanding impersonation
of Roy Orbison for the Matthew Backer Leukemia benefit. The show was wonderful and the benefit
was a great success. over $7,000.00 was raised for 10 yr-old Matthew and his family. With so many people contributing, it
was a heartwarming experience and a great benefit to the family.
September, 2006...we are sorry to inform everyone that Matthew lost his battle against Leukemia.
To all that helped and all who contributed, just know that a lot of Matthew's last wishes were granted. Our hearts go out
to the family with our deepest sympathy.
Saturday, October 14th, 2006 at 7:00pm
Steve Dorsey performed his Roy Orbison impersonation at
the Sunflower Club, at 340 Metz St., Erie, Pa. and it was captivating. The Red
Hat Ladies enjoyed Roy and Kurt Nova as Elvis equally; as well as Harvey Hayes, the wonderful
country balladeer. There is no better show in the area. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time.

The benifit for Relay for Life
at the Mercer High School track on
W. Butler St., Mercer, Pa. was a great success with Steve
Dorsey as Roy Orbison and the
wonderful Laurie James singing their hearts out
for cancer survivors and relatives.

The June 30th, 2007 SOLD OUT Superstars show is rated the #
1 touring impersonator show and was an evening of nonstop fun. What a great time !!! With Steve Dorsery as Roy Orbison,
Don Obusek as Elvis,
Mike Thompson as John Lennon.
The Blues Brothers were there and Chris Denam as Neil Diamond.
What a wonderful show.

"SOLD OUT SHOW"
Tribute to Roy Orbison by Steve Dorsey at
the
Rockwood Mill Opera House
was a wonderful experience for all. The meal, the tour
and the tribute were all fantastic. Another standing
ovation for Steve Dorsey....this has become a theme.
Everyone enjoyed Steve , including the proprietess;
Judy Pletcher and the very appreciative
Red Hat Ladies. What a great time and such
a gracious hostess. If you missed it; watch for a
repeat performance in the future.
29TH AND 30TH OF SEPTEMBER....
The Elvis/Orbison Show at the Wine Fest for
the
Arrowhead Winery in North East, Pa.
was a wonderful success ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Kurt Nova as Elvis had the crowd dancing
and having a great time.
Steve Dorsey as Roy Orbison gave chills
to most of the women in attendance.
Goofus the Clown entertained as well with the
fantastic baloon creatures she created.
All in all: the crowds that came in cars and buses;
and the employees as well, had a great time and
requested the Elvis/Orbison Show return next
year!

the front table of fans named the songs by Steve's
description. All-in-all; everyone had a wonderful
time and were thrilled with the
Gene Pitney songs as well.

Lions Club, Center on the Hill
This show was very nice. The Lions Club was having their annual
Holiday celebration and really enjoyed the show. This was a great
time for Steve Dorsey as Roy Orbison and everyone in attendance.
Looks like we could be coming back to this venue as well.
As always, Steve impressed many with his wonderful voice.

Steve Novakowski was a great success.
Steve Dorsey
as Roy Orbison as usual was a big hit.
Elvis Lives by
Kurt Nova was wonderful and entertaining as always.
And Jan Ross made her
debut as emcee and show opener, singing a couple Patsy Cline songs.
All in all it was a great show and very bittersweet; as Steve Novakowski has left us for
a better place. Rest in peace Steve.
